Buller Wines is a 100 year old boutique winery situated in Rutherglen. A multi award winning winery and the home of Three Chain Road Distillery and we are looking for people with a zest for life, an enthusiastic nature and a love of wine and gin to share the story of our award winning wines and gins and world famous fortifieds. Buller Wines is a destination for quality wine, exciting new gins, fabulous food, fun events and celebrations. Cellar Door Team Member

Must be available across the week and for some weekend work and Public Holidays
Qualifications & experience
o Knowledge of wines an advantage but not essential, onsite training provided
o Be holder of a current RSA, or be prepared to obtain one
o Previous sales or cellar door experience beneficial
o Enthusiastic, vibrant, fun and happy disposition
o Must be fully COVID vaccinated
Tasks & responsibilitiesÂ
o Familiarise yourself with brand stories for ranges of wines and gins
o Work with management and staff to co-ordinate events
o Facilitate and conduct wine and gin tastings
o Process wine and gin sales for customers via till and EFTPOS facilities
o Process, prepare and dispatch phone, wine club and email orders
o Deal with correspondence and phone enquiries
o General housekeeping duties – restocking, cleaning, recording stock movement

Production & Bottling Line Worker

Hours of employment  As required Monday to Friday with possible weekend work during vintage
Primary Objectives
o To ensure quality wine production through the efficient execution of cellar operations under the direction of the winemaker
o Vintage related tasks
o Tanker operations
o Wine transfers, racking, additions
o Barrel operations
o Assist with bottling and packaging of wine and gins
o Maintain a safe work environment and carry out tasks in a safe manner
o Maintain general winery upkeep and cleanliness
o Maintain cellar hygiene to a high standard
o Undertake careful use of equipment
o Report damage & faults as required
o Any other tasks as may be required
