Fruit used in our Balladeer Range is sourced from vineyards in the Rutherglen region. These wines are produced using traditional open vat fermentationm hand plunged with extended maceration on skins to build structure and complexity. The wine has matured for 12 months in French Oak hogsheads.
Spicy, stewed rhubarb nose heading towards savoury with lovely violet hints. The fruit driven style with more of the violet floral characters. Good balance of acid and tannins.
Ripe cherries, plums and mouth coating, soft tannins.
Deep plums, ripe red berry fruits and firm tannins.
Ripe black fruits, aniseed, violets, plums and hints of mocha oak.
